Yahara, The Umber Lord
Alignment: Neutral Evil
Major Spheres of Influence: Secrets, Lies, Assassination
Minor Spheres of Influence: Darkness, Undead
Suggested Domain(s): Knowledge, Death
Followers: Drow, Assassins, Murderers, Liches, Intelligent Undead
Symbol: The Gaping Skull
The God of Lies, Yahara waits in the darkest corners of the world, seeking always to gain more knowledge and power. As with most of the Far Gods, little is known of his true nature. Yahara is thought to doggedly pursue secrets and knowledge wherever they may be, using this knowledge to outmaneuver his opponents. It is said that Yahara does not care who or what must be harmed in his pursuit, as long as more power and knowledge was obtained as a result. Yahara seems to value allies who similarly pursue secrets like he does, though he is not unwilling to discard any who have served their use. Yahara's subjects always seek to position themselves such that they are useful to the Umber King. Little is known about how Yahara might manifest, if he ever did. The few known depictions seem to portray him as an entity shrouded in darkness with little visible beyond the pale afterimage of a jagged skull.
