The Federation of Earth was rapidly expanding its influence out into the galaxy. With the ability to inhabit countless worlds for the exploding population of the human race, overpopulation was no longer a problem for humanity. But before the Federation had a chance to truly establish itself, it was invaded by the Celestial Empire. This became known as the Human Celestial conflict. With such a wide disparity in technological advancement and greater numbers, humanity never had a chance against them. Only several worlds remained untouched by the Celestials. With the Celestial Empire controlling the space around them, it became far too dangerous to do interstellar travel
Today... 3072
A small remaining group of humans on a world known as Kairothia live the rest of their lives as best as they can. Before the fall of the Federation, most of these humans were here on a scientific expedition to study the wildlife of Kairothia. Kairothia remained untouched by the Celestials during the conflict. But after the end of the Human Celestial conflict, without interstellar travel, they remained stranded on the planet for the rest of their lives.
This is the story of a young man who grew up after the end of the conflict.
