Despite what her academic record may suggest, Kendra is anything but lazy. She is physically active at every opportunity and is also motivated by discovering new things, ideas or places. Hence her excitement moving to Bannockthorpe.
Despite her new role she has not yet developed a great deal of motivation for the crown, at least not for herself. It could be said that she is motivaed for her father to have a long and healthy reign.
