School of Silent Steps
The School of Silent Steps is the "Skirmisher's" college.
First established in Doomsayer's keep around the end of the original Succession War. Slowly building up (like all other class guilds) and expanding until now, in modern times, there are guild faculties throughout all of Ashnoor (At least, both factions and more than a few in the Contested Lands.
Originally founded in 227 AE, the very first Ranger Prime was a Bardagan Hunter named Derel who had joined the party transporting the Alma Acquiesce south after the fall of Aringale.
Ranger Prime position has been filled both by rangers and assassins (the two skirmish trees) through history.
Structure
Ranger Prime is prinicipal.
Various Rangers and/or Assasins take up teaching roles periodically.
Each faculty will have an onsite Senior Ranger - as there is only one Ranger Prime.
Culture
As with all guilds, the School of Silent Steps is proactively "neutral". The organisation does not dabble in the politics of the land.
At best, it may teach some of those influencing the politics from time to time.
Public Agenda
There is only one agenda for the school, train the best skirmishers.
