Kaladaan Uaimh Coibheniel campaign

Uaimh Coibheniel campaign

Military action

1254AE
23/4
1254AE
6/6

As campaigns go this was a relatively short one, as far as the fighting went.

Two noteworthy battles in all. The penultimate battle, Hadovian forces overwhelmed the local militia and few remaining Kingdom allies.
The Kingdom and Militia forces had gambled on a successful ambush and holding the Empire forces at Seas mu Dheireadh.
They had gambled and they had lost.
This left the main fortress relatively unprotected, the second battle was a short, violent and bloody affair with Hadovean's taking Uaimh Coibheniel on the sixth day of the month of Grigori 1254 AE.

The location had been decided upon months ago now, it seemed longer. The purpose was entirely to expand territory and capture resources, the hills were reknowned for 'digging up' a variety of useful resources to a range of trades and professions.
Light resistance, poorly trained local millitia is anticipated.
