High Priestess of the Mantle Ilstus Irantha
Ilstus Irantha is the current High Priest of the Church of the Mantle and as a result the ruler of Balmoth.
Ilstus came into her position after the attack on Balmoth during the Year of the Dragon and the coinciding coup by the previous High Priest and VatVat Blinks, the leader of The Mantle Militant.
She was elected as High Priest in 756 and is thought to have been chosen partially due to her familiarity with The Wayfarers, especially Octavia Ghiacciato. While this may have been true, she has proved to be an able and willing leader of the Church and has led Balmoth's reconstruction and change with a religious dutifulness. Though some have criticized her for some decisions she has made in regards to Balmoth (namely, the taxing of non-Mantle worshipers).
