The Mantle Militant
The Mantle Militant is the military arm of the Church of the Mantle. Unlike The Paladin Order and The Black Paladins which are philosophically aligned with the Church but separate the Mantle Militant are under the direct command of the High Priests of the Church. They mostly serve as protection for important priests or during important events, but the more unscrupulous priest can and has used them as private muscle.
The Militant is based out of the Mantle Tower in Balmoth, a keep that was added onto the Basilica Maxima, the home of the Church of the Mantle.
