Erdiza (air-DEE-zuh)

Erdiza is a group of seven islands in the Oriro Ocean to the north-west of Vancorra.
Prior to the invention of sonar, the islands were sparsely populated by Vancorrans.
Erdiza is currently a state of the Lanarian Empire, although the Vincaran Federation has shown interest in taking it over in the past. A tense naval standoff in 4210 ended peacefully thanks to Emperor Xeres' negotiations. Future Supreme Commander Minalla distinguished herself in the campaign.
