Scope
The motivation behind building Kena'an
I started working on this world, some years after I began playing TTRPG. It is a tribute to my younger self, a reminder that to create is to trully be alive.
The goal of the project
This world is going to be the place where my own Campaign will take place. I aim on flesh it out as much as possible to engage both myself and my players to original lore. Basically, I just want to have fun!
Kena'an's Unique Selling point
The focus point of Kena'an is this: "We are the builders of our own destiny". That's the theme I am exploring, how people of any background can create their own path, unaffected by fates whims. It is a battle between Free Will and Destiny.
Theme
Genre
The genre is high fantasy in a medieval setting. You could describe it as classic Dungeons and Dragons game. It is a world that promotes exploration and journey.
Reader Experience
It is a mystical but colorful world. There is humor and unique characters. Lore and the past play a critical role. Any players should be ready to forge the future of the world. Any readers should know I usually deal with darker themes, such as phycological horror.
Reader Tone
It depends on the region of the world we are talking about. Some places are brighter, some are darker. Bottom line it is a fantasy world that includes a variety of emotions and tones.

Character Agency
The main scope of this world is to let players decide the outcome of major conflicts. I am an advocate of player inclusion in the world's formation throughout a campaign, and that's how I treat my own stories.
Focus
The Regions of the world: I think they are the foundations upon which I worldbuild. Having different region with unique characteristics, people and goverments adds variety in the world and it is the first thing I want to focus on.
This will be magic. Magic plays a pivotal role in my world.
