Kena'an A World Forged in Balance. A World Shaped by Conflict

Aeons ago, the gods of Light and Darkness shaped Kena’an as a world of perfect balance. But their ambition crumbled when they turned against one another, culminating in a cataclysmic event called the Purification. Though the conflict ended in a stalemate, sealing them away, the gods had prepared for this. They left pieces of their divine essence behind, intending to break free once these pieces found their true vessels.

But fate had other plans.

A mysterious force shattered these divine pieces, splitting them into smaller fragments known simply as Runes. And while the cores of these godly remnants now lie within the Seven Kings and Queens of Kena'an as it was intened, the Runes themselves seek hosts among ordinary mortals. For every core, there are seven Runes waiting to awaken, imbuing mortals with the power of a Virtue or a Sin.

Prophecy foretells that when every piece is fully awakened and whole once again, the gods will return to end their conflict once and for all, in a last epic battle. This time, however, it is not them the ones to decide the fate of Kena’an. This privilege lies in hands like yours, brave adventurer.
