Greenlander
Greenlanders are very common all across Kenshi. They are a subrace of Human, most abundant in The Holy Nation and other temperate Regions. The worst of them live in ignorance, knowing only greed and fear, reacting to anything different with hatred and violence, but the best of them are some of the greatest civilized scientists, engineers and warriors in the land.
Physical Description
Greenlanders can have a wide variety of appearances but generally they have lighter skin tones and brown or black hair. Most Greenlanders stand 5 to 6 feet tall and weight 100-200 pounds on average.
Personality
Greenlanders can be found in all levels of society and mixed in with any culture. They are adaptable, born from a stubborness to survive. Almost all Greenlanders descend from the Cannibals of the North and they can be violent in nature, especially in self defense.
Nothing ever truly changes. Trends, cultures, languages, rulers... they come and go. But behaviour bred from greed and fear hold human evolution at a standstill. Any kind of progress made is usually destroyed... reset in one way or another. Like a wave, it evolves and it falls again...
Ideology
While Greenlanders have been known to have many ideologies most are followers of the Church of Okran. Okran himself was a Greenlander and many see themselves as his children and divine race. The Holy Nation calls it's citizens Okran's children and it is punishable by death to speak poorly of Okran or The Holy Phoenix.
Relations
With the high concentration of Greenlanders within the Holy Nation many other races see them as ignorant xenophobes. However, many Greenlanders see the world through a different lens, believing the Skeletons to be their mortal enemy and agents of Narko.
Names
Varying from the Holy Nation to the United Cities, Greenlander names generally align to their profession. Names such as Potter or Tiller are common. Most Greenlanders carry with them a family name. Lineages are closely tracked in the Holy Nation.
