Pengu River
The Pengu River cuts through the dense, humid swamps of Vain, its waters murky and sluggish, teeming with life both dangerous and benign. More of a slough than a river, the pengu gathers water from the surrounding wetlands and funnels it to the sea. Commonly referred to as Leviathan road, many Hiver driven leviathan travel here daily. The river is the lifeblood of many Western Hive Villages, providing a natural highway for trade and travel, as well as a source of food and water. However, it also brings with it the constant threat of predators and disease, making life along its banks a constant struggle.
