The Hive
The Hive is more than a collection of factions, it is a divine collective, a living manifestation of order, purpose, and unity. To its followers, the Hive is not just a political or social structure, but a sacred way of life, a spiritual calling that guides every Hiver from birth until death. To exist within the Hive is to be part of something larger, something holy, where the individual sacrifices themselves for the greater good, and where the collective will reigns supreme as the true path to salvation.
The Queen
At the heart is the Queen, a divine and sacred figure, often revered as the Mother of All, whose very existence is the source of life and order within the Hive. There are assumed to be three Queens within The Hive, each with their own respective following.
The Collective
The Hive itself is seen as a sacred organism, where each individual is a vital cell within the body of the whole. Hivers view themselves not as separate beings, but as part of a single divine entity, unified in purpose and function. Each Hiver plays a specific role, whether as a worker, a soldier, or a prince, and to deviate from this role is seen as an affront to the natural and divine order.
The Sin of Individualism
While the Hive teaches that unity is the path to salvation, it also warns of the dangers of individuality, which is viewed as the root of all sin. Those who seek personal freedom, who attempt to break away from the Hive’s collective purpose, are considered heretics.
Heretics are handled differently between the seperate Hives. The Western Hive is mostly tolerant of hivers that have split from the Hive. Although they are treated with disdain and looked down on as traitors. The Southern Hive will kill all heretics originating from their hive on site but hold no ill will toward heretics originating from the Western Hive.
