Cavalry Marshal (a.k.a. Ghost)

Barbarian.  Berserker.  Chaos warrior.  Bartree has made a name for himself as a cavalry officer who could never be caught; daring raids, nighttime assaults, and disappearing have all culminated in his promotion to Cavalry Marshal in 217.

Personal history

Born a half-orc in a province that has alot of cause to hate orcs, it's a wonder Bartree ever made it past puberty; his ferocity and determination kept him alive, and, when old enough, he decided he'd had enough of the childish bullying, and left home to wander.

It wasn't long before he found himself in the city of Shard, where he ran afoul with the law, and was given the choice to enlist, or to face several years in prison; naturally he choice to enlist.

Bartree found his calling in the military, where his skills in the saddle and naturalistic background made him an extremely effective ranger in the Ilithi Infantry, but he wanted more, and eventually moved on to joining the Ilithi Cavalry in 202.

In 206, he accepted a commission as an officer,  and moved on to form, and command, the Heralds of the Wind, an elite strike force of unconventional cavalry, a posting he retained until his promotion to Cavalry Marshal.

Education

Bartree received very little in the way of formal education, but is a quick study and learns from his mistakes, a quality sought but not often found in military officers.
