Demographics

Though there is a strong Dwarven and Gnomish presence in Eagleview, the presence of so many soldiers of the Zoluren Expeditionary Force, which are typically and most dominantly human, Elven, or Half-Elven, ensures that the majority populace of Eagleview is the same.

Government

Eagleview is the seat of power for the Duchy of the Northern Realms, and remains under her strict governance when she is seated.  Elsewise, order is maintained by the city garrison and the local guards.

Defences

Built into the solid rock of the mountain, Eagleview is surrounded by high towers and nearly impregnable rock walls, and an outer wooden palisade, further extending the reach of the defenders.  A large number of lookout towers exist along both sets of walls, each equipped with warning clarions, large windlass crossbows, and large enough for several defenders to utilize bows or crossbows to fire down at any attacker.

Industry & Trade

Built at the edge of the Ash Fields, along the northern border of the Danduwen Forest, Eagleview is situated to make excellent use of the Northern Trade Road leading towards Riverhaven, as well as southwards towards Dirge or even farther, towards River Crossing.

Guilds and Factions

A number of mining guilds exist within Eagleview, as well as a large sector of lumber gatherers.  Within the nearby Ash Fields , a number of unique and exotic creatures reside, necessitating a resident hall of the Monstrosity's Menagerie.
