Grand Inquisitor Mikhael Basswood
Mikhael Basswood is the Grand Inquisitor for the Hallowed Order, and serves as advisor to the Baron of Therengia on all things related to heresy, witchcraft, black magic, and other banned practices throughout the Barony.

Personal history
Mikhael was born the second son to a wealthy iron merchant in 160AV. He knew from an early age he would not inherit, but, during his early teenage years, he began obsessive studies of the Hallowed Order and their workings, eventually eventually earning the opportunity to apprentice with one.
Mikhael earned his own sigil in 187, and served as a wandering Witch Hunter for nearly 30 years, rooting out evils, necromancy, and heresy wherever he found it within the borders of Therengia.
Upon the death of the previous Grand Inquisitor, Mikhael found himself in position to press several favors he'd earned over the years, and was named Grand Inquisitor of the Order in the tenth month of 212, just after his 52nd birthday.
