The Wishstone

Created by Arkaine as a way of utilizing the power and potential of the Wish spell, the Wishstones [there are, in fact, two, though that is unbeknownst to anyone besides Arkaine] were designed to mitigate the inherent risks of utilizing such powerful magic on a frequent basis.

Significance

The Wishstones are infused with exceptionally powerful magics, and can be used as an arcane focus to cast the powerful spell Wish once each day.  They can be used to replicate spells, undo events, or many other things that only the most powerful magics can accomplish.  They were designed to do so without incurring the potential downfalls of such magics, allowing a user to continuously tap into this magic without risk of harming themselves or others due to backlash.

Though there are, in fact, two wishstones, the existence, and location, of the second is a well-guarded secret; for anyone who might know of it, the second is believed to've been lost when Arkaine died.

The second stone, the known stone, was last known to be in the possession of Emberflame, Wrath of the First Age, located deep within his treasure hoard.
