Hin

Hin, the Halfling language, was the primary spoken language of halflings. Over centuries of elven rule, Elvish has displaced Hin in many Halfling communities. However, Hin continues to be spoken alongside Elvish in the Disputed Lands for rituals and ceremonies. Most halflings elsewhere only speak Elvish. Hin is related to Old Human, with similar grammar and some shared vocabulary.
