Mount Krios

The titan of The Argyros Peaks and the highest peak in all of Khana, Mount Krios stands as an awe-inspiring testament to the majesty of nature. Its name, meaning 'Ram' in the Dray language, embodies the strength and tenacity attributed to this gargantuan landmark.
Krios' staggering height makes it an impressive spectacle visible from many regions of Khana. Its peak, always wrapped in a shroud of clouds and mist, presents a mysterious and challenging destination for mountaineers and adventurers. The summit is covered in perpetual snow, its glimmering sheen bestowing upon it the image of a towering silver monument against the sky.
The mountain's lower slopes are densely forested, teeming with wildlife and adorned with vibrant, wild flora. However, as one ascends, the greenery gives way to rocky terrain and cold, harsh winds. Despite these seemingly inhospitable conditions, Mount Krios is not devoid of life. The Toth, known for their resilience and endurance, have adapted to live in these harsh environs, carving out settlements in the mountain's more navigable regions.
Beyond its natural splendor, Mount Krios holds spiritual significance for many inhabitants of Khana, particularly the Toth. They consider the mountain to be a symbol of endurance and strength, often featuring in their legends and folklores.
The peak is also known for the strategic role it played during the Battle of the Shattered Peaks. The Gar mage, Killith the Wise, utilized his arcane energies to trigger a collapse of the surrounding peaks, including parts of Mount Krios, turning the tide of the battle.
Today, the scarred and regal Mount Krios continues to stand tall, its undiminished grandeur encapsulating the spirit of Khana. Despite the severe elements, it remains a beacon of nature's resilient beauty and a testament to the strength and endurance of Khana's inhabitants.
