Natoc is a Yeti whom the Obsidian met on their journey to Strutholm. Ozzo and Harriette ''Harrie'' Graythorn originally captured him, after which Astrid d'Arcy befriended him by using the Blade of the Glacier Queen. The two got to know eachother and later Natoc asked Astrid d'Arcy if he could journey with them.
Ozzo sees Natoc as his and his queen Naevydia Sunwell's son.

Personal history
Natoc is originally from the Icy Caps. He was banished from his village because he got injured. After that he swam to Aurleen.
Education
Natoc has learned some hand signals from Astrid d'Arcy. The signals are:
- Waving: Hello (also used for goodbye or fuck-off)
- Pointing: There / go there
- Hands folded near head: Sleep
