The Circle
The Circle is the Katzan Cape's sect of mages. While they are technically a subsidiary of the Council of Magistry, their order existed long before the Council was ever a concept. If the Circle's members ever wished to, they could break away from the Council and face minimal repercussions. Members of the Circle are called Mavens, and they are in charge, in one way or another, of everything that happens in the Katzan Cape. The Archmaven leads the Circle, also serving as Katzan's representative in the Council.
