Astral Progession

Due to the nature of the effects of Dimensional Layering, those who survive dangerous encounters gain increased power, both physical and magical. This phenomenon is called Astral Progression. By surviving a trial, a creature gains increased belief in their abilities, which manifests real power through the Astral Sea. This is the reason why powerful warriors are said to possess godlike strength.
