Dozens of goats and cows are rounded up and carted off to Lady Patrician Manager Maid's hometown, where they're dumped unceremoniously into the water near her estate.
To the Church of the Ninth's great anger, the bizarre plan works. The kraken presumably eats it fill and disappears back into the depths.
Coastal villagers celebrate by burning kraken effigies and occasionally tossing their own goats into the sea, Hopefully they haven'just spawned a cult.
