Alas, prisoners at the Keep have staged a mutiny. We have no idea what went wrong, but they've killed all the guards and taken Cuervo for themselves.
We've come to Your Holiness because the prisoners are now making demands of you. If you do not respond, they will kill their hostage, including Cuervo Keep's owner - Grandee Kate Improbable!

But they're also asking for a significant gold payment and free passage to Ashmede.

The Grandees of the South mount a daring assault on Cuervo Keep. First, an infiltration team triest to scale the desert cliffs, but the team evidently fails when the gates aren't open from the inside. A brute-force frontal assault is all that's left.
The battle is long and bloody. In the midst of it, Grandee Kate Improbable is killed and her body is thrown from the battlements.
Grandee Kate Improbable has died.
Though Cuervo Keep is eventually recaptured, it comes at a heavy price.
