Sae Cadmus
Princess Sae Ausan
Sae was the youngest daughter of Vanen Detaelua Nua Ausan and Akiel Hylton after Kaima Saedur Cara Ausan, Alezel Ausan, Inyvus Ausan, and Kaitor Ausan. Born sixteen years after Kaima, Vanen had struggled during her pregnancy with Sae and was forced to step down due to health complications after Sae's birth. This caused Vanen to be resentful towards Sae and she constantly compared her to both Kaima and Aleandra Vanen Larina Ausan. Vanen had taken care with Sae's older siblings, but had Sae raised by attendants. The older Sae got, the more she looked like Lalan Idamla Anak Ausan.
Kaima had a daughter of her own, Aleandra, five years after Sae's birth. Aleandra got the attention Sae sorely desired. Instead of it making her bitter, Sae turned her pain inwards and believed herself incapable of being loved. Spurned by their mother, her older siblings wanted little to do with her.
When she met Tutho Raz in S. 268, she fell in love with him immediately and gave birth to Enid Raz the following year. Vanen never wanted Sae, Tutho, or Enid in her sight, so until she passed in S. 270 they lived in Tutho's family home in Ingdale. After Vanen's passing, Kaima allowed them back into the castle. But when Aleandra took the throne in S. 278, she expelled all of her extended family members.
A devastating but short-lived pandemic, The Ghast, broke out in S. 279 before it was brought under control by the Arcane three months after it began, claiming thousands of lives. Tutho was among those claimed. Sae fell into a deep depression and she ultimately took her own life in S. 283.
