Issia

One of the two former nations that now comprise Brevoy, Issia was a land perched at the edge of the Lake of Mists and Veils in the northern realm of modern Brevoy. With the unforgiving cold and harsh environment that came with the geography, the Issian people were mostly raiders and pirates plying their way across the rivers to take what they pleased. This brought them into conflict with their neighbors to the south - Rostland - who still hold a grudge even after their eventual unification at the hands of Choral the Conquerer.
