Rostland

One of the two former nations that now comprise Brevoy, Rostland is the fertile farmland and resource rich area that now occupies the southern reaches of country. Founded by a former Taldan noble who fled there in disgrace, he honed his dueling style until he was unbeatable in single combat. Over time, this dueling became a major draw for students of the blade, and was adopted by many members of the nobility.
In the times before Brevoy was former, Rostland was locked in a slow war with their neighbor to the north, Issia. The coming of Choral the Conquerer was what unified the two bitter enemies, though it was no a peaceful joining.
