Chingis is never without his herbalism kit, nor without at least two first aid kits. He often wears a backpack full of miscellaneous gear, unwilling to risk being unready.

Personal history
Chingis was born to a Czhahyl dancer, uncertain of who his father was. He had one older brother, Rirok, and four younger siblings. He was the responsible one, taking care of his younger siblings while his mother worked. In his free time, he studied herbalism with his uncle, and helped produce elixirs and tinctures for sale.
His Becoming occurred with his siblings', a common occurrence with the Czhahyl. They ranged ahead of the caravan to ambush and slay a giant that had caused the caravan trouble on their yearly migration for generations.
He followed Rirok into the Doomed Crusade, and was in turn followed by all of his younger siblings. He acted as medic, and saved two siblings, Honhi and Doglan. He never speaks of it, but it's known that he attempted to save at least one more and failed.
Upon returning from the crusade, Chingis caught the eye of the half-orc Levunda Wildbone, one of the heads of the Wildbone clan.
Sexuality
Chingis is married to Levunda, a half-orc matron.
Education
Chingis learned herbalism and a bit of alchemy from his uncle, but otherwise his upbringing followed the normal Czhahyl practices.
Employment
Chingis serves alongside Caeda Terrablossom as a medic and emergency doctor for the Alcedene Guard Force.
Before that, he assisted his uncle making and selling elixirs and tinctures.
Failures & Embarrassments
Chingis saved his two siblings but lost the rest, for which he blames himself. He has acquired a large collection of medical and anatomy books to supplement his herbalism.
Mental Trauma
Chingis is haunted by the deaths of his siblings in an acute way. He has a tendency to dissociate emotionally under stress, becoming very matter-of-fact and businesslike when confronted with blood.
