Lilitingóle
"If we've ever wiped out the keebs, or at least driven them from Seaudyr, maybe I'll retire and start producing lilitingóle myself. I'd die drunk and happy."
~Archmage Dulacar, of the Brass Tower
Manufacturing process
The sap is collected in a barrel. "Legacy barrels" that have been used in this way many times are typically preferred. The barrel is half filled with sap, and then the quartz sphere is dropped into the mass before yeast is sprinkled on and then water is gently poured over top. Individual Wood Elf families have legacy yeast strains, and experienced crystal spheres are likewise revered and aficionados swear that such combinations create unique flavors. The barrel is then sealed and buried for a minimum of 200 years.
Significance
Wood Elves regard it as a part of their identity. High Elves regard it as a valuable magical resource, and the tension between the two can get close to violence.
