Awatcovum
The original sovereigns of the Ebawecci humans were individuals called Awatcorum. In time, these titles have become subordinate to the Vonuscidum, to whom they owe fealty.
Requirements
Traditionally, direct descent from another Awaterum, though they could be appointed by the Vonuscidum without meeting those criteria.
Appointment
Normally, the title passes to the eldest child of the precedent Awatcovum upon their death. In certain circumstances, the Vonuscidum may elect to appoint someone else, however. Absent such an appointment by the Vonuscidum, the normal rules of heritability are presumed to be in effect.
Duties
- Military service to the Vonuscidum or their duly designated representative
- Political support to the Vonuscidum and their designated heir

Governance, defense, and administration of the lands under their control

A gold circlet with twelve set pearls
Grounds for Removal/Dismissal
Can be removed by the Vonuscidum for any cause, or none.
