The Counting House
Structure
The high priest or priestess of the Counting House is called the Peneimercat. They choose the Factors, who are the overseers of the local temples. In turn, the Factors appoint the ordinary priests, who are called Wibilbimum. Worship is exclusive to urban centers within temples specifically built for the purpose. The central temple of the faith is located in Calpi.
Culture
The culture of the Counting House is one of competition. Every wilbilbimum competes with every other to advance within the Church. Success is often measured by how much revenue a wilbilbimum can bring into their temple. Nothing is every given away, even to the faithful, without something in trade
Public Agenda
The public face of the Counting House is the worship of Kisquay through the advancement of markets and trade. Temples act as banks, storing and loaning funds at interest to those whom the Counting House deems a safe risk. They argue for low taxation, open markets, and a broad mercantile class in society.
