Garenthar

Father of Korrisia

Garenthar, known also as The Creator is one of the two twin creator deities responsible for the formation of Korrisia and the greater multiverse in Korrisian Space. Garenthar is seen by most as the good brother, the being of light, love, and caring.
Garenthar is the direct creator of dwarves, elves, and humans. Most other races are either creations of his children, the Prime Deities, or of his brother, Kormund. The incredibly small number of people who can recall Garenthar saw him as a kind and gentle being, who looked upon his creations like a curious child, wishing to learn everything about each of them.
One of Garenthar's greatest achievements was the formation of The Golden City, an eternal realm of which all of his children would reach once their mortal lives had ended. The City was vast and unending, and its apparent beauty was almost unfathomable to mortal minds. There are no depictions or renderings of the city, as none have ever laid eyes on it during their lifetime.
The Creator would meet his end at the hand of his own brother, after hundreds of years of seething jealousy and hatred, Kormund would attempt to wrest Korrisia away from Garenthar and twist all of his brother's creations into vile and hateful beings. The war between the two and their children would nearly destroy Korrisia and the surrounding planes time and time again, until finally they mortally wounded each other. Kormund fled back to his fortress, the Everspire, while Garenthar used the last of his essence to empower his children, and instructed them to protect Korrisia at all costs. He then would return to his Golden Throne in the heart of his great City, and it is here that Garenthar took his last breath.
