"Your sword hangs heavy. I cannot bear its weight any longer."
Favored amongst his brothers, Yakov stove to uphold the legacy and honor of his father Avgust. He strove to be a warrior among warriors, a statesman who truly cared for those who bled and died in his name. The sudden death of his father was the only thing that ever shook him from that goal. His desire for perfection drove himi to hastily agree to take on The Curse, if only to avenge his father. The Curse did greatly increase his strength, his stamina and agility unmatched by those around him. He was at the pinnacle of perfection, but it was not earned. He did not fight, bleed enough for it. This shame has haunted Yakove, causing him to be one of the least likely to turn those under him to Vampires.
Very conspicuous, Yakov rides into the fray in crimson armor, his face forever hidden under a helmet made to appear as the skull of a dragon. His territories look across the western shores, staring into the endless expanse. The close proximity of the Hags has caused the lands to be suffer under greater hardships that most. For as the Hags were cut down, the intricate weaving of their magic was no longer maintianed. Hardened by the land, unwary foreigners are greeted by the sound of horns as xenophobic huntsmen wait upon the beaches, flaming arrows fired from the shores. His people are resiliant, hunters of great beasts and man.
His Honor Guard is comprised of those that have reached their own perfection, and warriors that have proven themselves in leadership and martial abilities. Enthralled by the Questing Knights that often appear on his shore, he encourages his children to embark on their own quests, enforcing his own ideals of chivalry on those that serve him.
