Iron Legions
The rise of the Glorious Empire of Ferro Empire of Ferro is almost single-handedly attributed to the Iron Legions.
With their untiring ranks, the ease at which they were replaceable, and their almost instant psychic communication, they were an implacable military force and virtually no army could stand against their sheer numbers and enhanced physical abilities. Even after a century of building their nations and establishing their power, the members of The Coalition were caught completely off-guard and were swept aside easily in a tide of steel and blood.

Warforged
Each individual unit of the Iron Legions was a specially-crafted automaton warrior. The majority were humanoid in size and shape, though their bodies were composed of steel and metal. A few exotic forms were constructed to fulfill specific purposes, some for siege, some for mobility, and there is rumor that a special infiltration and assassination class existed. The Steel Gods
The Steel Gods were seven uniquely powerful warforged, created by Luciene, The First late in her rule—assumedly to help her bear the massive task of running the whole of the Glorious Empire of Ferro. Little detail is known about the Steel Gods, or their exact relationship with the Empire, though they disappeared around the same time the Iron Legions were decommissioned, followed shortly by the Emperor’s death.
