Faar

The Barony of Faar is one of the southern most of the northern provinces of the Empire of Kyrnia. It has one of the few trade routes that head further north. The eastern lands of the barony has land that is suitable for farming, although it can often be arid and result in crop failure. The western part of the barony has the Moog River and the land there is much more fertile.
The Baroness, Lotte Halvorsen the pious, was once a member of the Holy Order of the Bringers and Protectors of the Light Resplendent, and she was forced to retire after leading a raid on a cultist temple where her left arm was severed at the elbow.  As a reward for her service she was given these lands after the former Baron died with out a clear heir.  There are some in the western village of Sios, that think their master, the Knight Maren Maskgild, is the rightful heir, and that has caused some local issues, but Lady Lotte has decided not to do anything too rash at this time.
