Baalzebul

Baalzebul was previously an Archon of the Heavenly Spheres, who was so obsessed with perfection, that it corrupted him. In his quest for perfection, he crossed lines that made him more like a Fiend than a Celestial, and with that was cast out. Asmodeus took an interest in him, and invited him to become an Archdevil. Initially, Baalzebul was a large, powerful being similar to that of a Pit Fiend. However, after the events of The Reckoning of Hell, Asmodeus cursed Baalzebul into the form he now takes today. A massive, disgusting slug. Both before and after his transformation, Baalzebul has taken the unofficial title of Lord of the Flies, because the web of lies he tells is so tightly woven together, not even a fly could escape it. Different from a pathological liar, who cannot help but tell falsehoods, every lie told by Baalzebul has a purpose, and a goal that it furthers. In addition to the normal powers of an Archduke, Baalzebul's unique form grants him the ability to summon swarms of flesh eating flies, that both attack his enemies, and shield him from certain amounts of harm.
