The siege of Tsaoin and Bourilia by the Western Pillars.

With Western Mot D'nir under thorough control and waning chances of success with the slow drain of Waning Rock, Eyiliv decided it was time for an all-or-nothing siege of Morie You, the capital of Bourilia. Mostly driven by his distaste for Paele, he sent for the Ocean Pride to block the Gulf of Nim (the only way resources could reach Nim by water).   The largest reservoir of Waning Rock ever used at once was used throughout this theater of the war. At that century, the Southerners had no fortresses keeping the West at a distance. Dour Rai led the siege, being the most capable with Waning Rocks. He would lead a force of 200 soldiers and 20 Waning Mages to take the lands around the central kingdom. Mostly lackluster farms, no one survived his first assault or lived to tell the tale. To this day, some of the territories in the region cannot grow food, and he was believed to carry a curse to the lands.   The second assault saw the destruction of the Salkrigere, which went almost as swiftly as the slaughter of the farmers. Unwilling to allow themselves to perish for the southerners, the remaining Saltkrigere fled back to Nim, bringing horror stories about the machinations of Dour Rai's Waning Rock displays.   Nim was able to maintain itself, but Bourilia would slowly starve out. In the year 677, Paele finally surrendered to the invaders. She hoped for some mercy thanks to her surrender, but Dour gave no such gift. He merely told her that after being around for so long, she would die a death as pathetic as her father. He used Waning Rock magics to execute her within her throne room, where she began to rot alive, before eventually decaying into nothing but a pile of flesh and bone. The remains were put in a crate and sent to Nim.   The siege left the Western Elves with a massive Waning Rock deficit. Morie You was theirs, but they were uncertain as to how long they could keep it.
