Commerce Guild
The purpose of the commerce guild is to deal with trades, they will manage these for the other guilds also. They are all given diplomatic training as they will commonly interact with other nations and can be seen as envoys.
The higher ranks of the wealth guild, called the Richmen, dress in old world clothes and spend their days travelling to start trades with different nations. Lower ranking members act as the muscle for the Richmen, they have the job of ruining anyone who breaks a trade. It is guild policy to do anything to get revenge for the guild, they will pay off everyone around the victim and get them to exclude the victim. Lower ranked members can act as muscle for anyone they want and will often do it in exchange for contacts and favours.
The ranks of wealth rise and fall since every position including the leader is fluid. Anyone can ask for any position and if they have a higher value, based on what trade contracts they hold, they gain the position for three months. Because of this system the position of the guild head Is always in danger. This makes the guild head more active than other guild heads as they are constantly trying to make trade contracts.

The Island Commerce
Wealth is the largest of the guild islands and the most influential, every other guild is forced to deal with Wealth in order to continue their own guild. The island of wealth is strange in that it produces nothing except businessmen. It has a few scattered trees and some attempted quarries but little in the way of natural resources.
