Dost
Dost is the region east of Bast and north of Al Renya. It is a desert waste enclosed by a mountain range, the north and south tips have lower ranges of hills that can be crossed. The central ridge itself has no clear paths, only twisting valleys.
The region acts as a home for the Dost Liberation Movement, the deadly terrain protecting it from the Bast Oligarchy.
Most of the year around it is very hot, the winters are incredibly mild. Spring is one of the most dangerous times for travellers, there are deadly sandstorms which are followed by summers that are boiling hot - heatstroke is a much more insidious danger than the sandstorms.
