Bokari Uio
Chairman Bokari Uio
Bokari was a wealthy and intelligent politician in the nation of Ral, where he served as a governor in the large region of Western Nax in eastern Ral. He was the main leader of the Reasonarick pioneers and later became the chairman of the nation from its creation in the 147th of 1926 until his stepping down in the 41st of 1934.
He was born into a rich and influential family, and during his early years, he learned many things when it came to politics, theory, and business. Likewise, he got involved with politics in Western Nax and the general east of Ral at a young age and quickly became a governor. Furthermore, he served as an atheist politician and was very popular for his political views and ability to rally and gather allies. He wanted peace with The Tar Faction and Salican Dynasty and was very controversial among Christians as well as proud patriotic Rals, but with atheistic ones he became very popular and their unofficial leader and thinker. He was one of the main advocates for an end to The Ral War, which he accused the Christians of starting many years ago.
As tension rose, Uio and the atheistic senators and governors plotted and wanted to be free; eventually, they organized and started The Ral-Reasonarick Split, where a new independent nation was formed. During the lead-up, the Reasonarick pioneers needed a leader among them to organize the future nation and system, plan the future breakaway, and lead them in foreign affairs. They chose Bokari as their leader and future chairman since he did much for the organization of rebels and was a popular governor who they trusted and had become popular. Bokari kept elements of the old Ral government and had many eastern governors and senators side with him to support the new nation. He ordered The Ral-Reasonarick Split and immediately took up the position of chairman to begin his reign with the Reasonarick Senate.
He reigned from the birth of Reasonarick on the 147th of 1926 to the 41st of 1934. His main goals during his time as chairman were to remain peaceful, powerful, atheistic, stay out of the escalating Ral War, and organizethe new nation. During his reign, he kept the people in line, drew up the nation's borders, kept the peace with Ral and The Aiden League, as well as staying out of all conflicts around Lasarian. Bokari was hated by many people for creating division and leading a traitorous faction that betrayed the home nation of Ral. He was also hated for oppressing the people, their religions, cultures, schools of thought, and also preventing them from leaving Reasonarick. He kept people from fleeing by having the military secure and hold down the border to Ral and Xararten. He and his pioneers were criticized by many for their heartlessness toward their own people, whom he and his followers wrongly assumed would side with them in bringing peace.
Bokari eventually stepped down after eight years as chairman and was replaced with Saqui Tax. He retreated into a small village in his original region of Western Nax and lived out the rest of his life in peace until he died at the age of 61. His death was made a national holiday, and he was remembered as a leader who fought for independence and freedom from religion. No one really knew why he stepped down, he said it was a show of a good and non-corrupt government, unlike Ral, which allowed chairmen to serve until death during The Ral War. But some say it was for other reasons, such as to escape the chaos, reflect on himself and the meaning of life, and ponder deep personal issues. Regardless, he was a secretive and influential leader who pioneered Reasonarick and its foundations, as well as served as a Ral governor who opposed The Ral War and religion, as well as all other ideologies that he concluded led to tyranny, danger, and an imperfect and flawed system.
