The Tar Faction
The Tar Faction was a criminal, based organization to the southwest of Ral. It was formed after The Tar Revolution, a revolt in the Tar region of Ral where crime overlords organized and made an independent country. The faction cooperated with all kinds of criminal guilds and syndicates from within, in fact, the nations itself was a criminal organization. The nation made money by stealing from its own people and carrying out its infamous operations. These operations were carried usually in other countries, and were often related to smuggling, weapons, drugs, and other general contraband.
Raktari Abira became leader of the faction on the 129th of 1867 and during her reign she allied with the king of The Salican Dynasty, Zuor Salican and declared war on their rival, Ral. She did this because she saw an opportunity in allying with a bigger power and waging war to gain more territory. This began The Ral War and despite the faction's small size it was a force to be reckoned with. They occupied and battled over lots of land and regions but suffered heavy losses, with their leader herself dying in bloody combat. This left her second, Heaenden Yun in charge. During the long war it was mainly a back and forth against Ral with little progress. However, in 1936 Commander Zarek Porv began to lead a large military unit to reclaim the captured Ral and push the faction back, he even went into the territory of the Tar faction itself. This campaign was put to a stop in The Ambush Of The Plains, however the damage was done, and most of the nation was damaged, and the campaign left many dead. They had to take time to recover, and this let the Rals time to recover as well and have a better chance against the faction.
After the faction recovered and continued the war effort The Aiden League joined after The Attack On Cedar, they invaded The Salican Dynasty, leaving Ral to focus more on the Tar faction. A large and bloody conquest ensued, where the military could not hold back the allies. Heaenden Yun knew it was over, so he killed himself and a massive order was given out for all large criminal organizations to disband across Lasarian and to go into hiding, so that they could live on and continue as Remnants Of The Tar Faction. When the faction fell, the war ended and Chairman Carqu renamed the reclaimed Tar faction to the Eusd Land, where the people were in poverty and heavy crime was still present, leaving behind the legacy of the Tar faction and its leaders.
Structure
The faction had a governing structure centered around crime. Leaders and gang members that were well respected within their crime families and syndicates would sit on a council with one leader among them who would lead when concerning foreign affairs.
Disbandment
They lost The Ral War and all their land was taken over by Ral and renamed the Eusd Land. Before getting taken over their leader, Heaenden Yun, ordered a disbandment and hiding of all criminal syndicates and organizations in the faction so that they may survive.
Military
There was a national military but it mainly was a tool for various government leaders to carry out operations. During The Ral War it was used for invasion under the government but there was also mercenaries and conscripts who fought and made up half of the fighting force as well.
Religion
Prior to The Ral War there was little religion and no care or recognition for it. After The Ral War and Abira alliance with Zuor Salican religious bodies were persecuted except for The Var Church.
Foreign Relations
The Tar Faction had a historical grudge with Ral and they were frequent enemies. Almost all nations all looked down upon it as the land of no laws and corruption.
DISBANDED/DISSOLVED
There was no capital, but instead the council and leader would assemble in designated buildings in different towns and regions, depending on which was most convenient to the councilmembers.
There was a reputation associated with the faction that since there was little law they would treat prisoners in The Ral War bably and even before the war anyone who interfered with their operations would often be killed.

Living in the Tar faction was terrible. The people often had to work for gangs or syndicates and dealt with constant gang wars and oppression from various groups that would take what little wealth they had.
