The Attack On Cedar
The Cedar region, under Talalmari, held strategic importance to the nation due to its access to water and its port cities. The region faced an attack on the 175th of 1940 by The Salican Dynasty. This attack was ordered by King Zuor Salican. The king aimed to retaliate against The Aiden League, an alliance that he viewed responsible for the rebellions in his kingdom and indirectly part of his war. When he sent the troops he gave them a message to give which was for The League to back down and to not be involved with the war or else more attacks would happen.
On the 175th, the ships broke through and caught the military of Talalmari by surprise and began. They initially succeeded with them capturing villages and raiding the place, but with the help of surrounding regions and a naval blockade which prevented their escape Talalmari responded better and quicker than anticipated, leading to the soldiers having to surrender. After they surrendered, the captured told them about their orders and message from the king. Afterward, many of the council of The League rallied under Speaker Decarn and joined The Ral War, infuriated by the attack on them. In the end, the attack was meant to send a message and scare The League out of war, but instead Zuor brought them into it.
The intention was not invasion but simply sacking and raiding and giving a message abd then leaving.
