Zuor belonged to The Royal Salican Family, which was a powerful political family in The Dynasty of the north west. He was a strong and young member of the family and was very powerful and controlling when it came to politics, since he wanted to see his family in control of the kingdom and wanted to be king himself. He eventually rose to the position of monarch by manipulating and keeping other families out of power. Furthermore, afterward, he changed the name of the kingdom to his family's name and declared it The Salican Dynasty. When Zuor became king, he banned The Orthodox Church from attending his coronation due to his dislike of their influence in his kingdom. He hated religion that would make the people act contrary to his will, so he persecuted the Christians and people from other religions who didn't submit completely to his rule, but kept the loyal Christians and pagans alive.
Zuor liked The Var Church, which was a schismatic and loyal group within Christianity that was loyal to the government above all. He appointed his cousin Teri Salican, as its head and made it the state religion.
Many Christians fled to the southern nation of Ral as refugees, and Zuor invaded the nation to reclaim them after the Rals refused to let him go in with his armed forces legally. After his invasion, battles ensued, and Zuor found himself in a war against Ral, which he intended to keep going since there was opportunity to expand his kingdom in the conflict. He made an alliance with Raktari Abira of The Tar Faction, and together the two invaded from their respective points and began The Ral War.
The Aiden League, in response to the war, helped Ral financially, and eventually, in 1891, Speaker Decarn sent in rebels and mercenaries to resist the rule of The Salican Dynasty. This was done, but they didn't get involved and fight directly in the war, but instead helped and took part in it without risking violence against themselves. Eventually, Zuor had enough of the rebels and the support The Aiden League was giving to Ral. In his opinion, The League were part of the war and were committing violence against his nation, and he decided he would fight back after all they did by ordering The Attack On Cedar to occur. This attack was meant to damage the Talalmari region of Cedar and send a message to The League's government to back off with what they were doing or else more violence would happen. The attack failed, and Decarn found himself with massive amounts of support from previous peaceful moderates afterward. After the attack, almost everyone, both civilians and politicians, wanted to fight back since Zuor attacked their people on their land. On the 198th of 1940, war on The Salican Dynasty was declared in response to The Attack On Cedar, a military attack ordered by Zuor that was supposed to keep them out of the war but ended up bringing them into it.
Zuor became scared and frantic when war came to his land, and also when The Tar Faction started getting weaker and began losing land to Ral. He tried to keep The Aiden League away by using his navy and military forces in the east, but eventually the three nations broke through his defenses and began the invasion and conquest of his kingdom. Eventually, after lots of fighting and bloodshed, The Battles Of Lardmost took place, where The League and their rebels began a siege on the capital city of Lardmost. Zuor and most of his family were executed by the soldiers and rebels after they were captured in the battle.
He died at the age of 98 and mysteriously didn't physically age that much.
He was remembered as the last king of The Dynasty before their occupation under The Aiden League and also as the one who started The Ral War and slaughtered many both in his kingdom and in other nations. All agree that he was very powerful and one of the most important kings of history due to his actions that changed Lasarian forever.
