Gabrijela

Gabrijela was an Archangel in the army of Angels, following after the teachings of Gabriel. She gave birth to one angel, Akrasiel. She was his mentor and teacher and raised him as a soldier in training, she planned and mapped out his life path since his creation. She was often summoned by a land dweller. She kept this connection to the surface very secret and when asked by Akrasiel about it, would only ever reply, "There are those that still believe in us and seek our guidance."
One day Gabrijela did not return from a summoning. The angelic authorities found her body on the surface. Her wings stripped of all feathers and her essence seemingly extracted from her. The authorities offered no explanation to Akrasiel, but appeared fearful of the discovery. Gabrijela’s desecration left no energy for the Angels of Death to return to the world.
