Old Fryst Mansion
Originally designed for raising a family, Old Fryst Mansion now houses the business operations of The Fryst Family.
The first floor, as built, comprised an entrance hall, parlor, dining room, kitchen and large bedroom. The upstairs held the children's rooms, a play room, and a guest room.
Today, the entrance hall and parlor maintain much of their original purpose, greeting and housing potential clients and business partners until they are ready to be seen. The large bedroom has been repurposed into Haj's office and is where most business is conducted.
The kitchen and dining hall are rarely used, but can be staffed when needed, and the room upstairs have been turned into small offices, a store room, and a sleeping quarters, respectively.
History
As the success of Fryst Mill & Granary demanded more and more of his time, most days found Varm Fryst working past sundown and past the point of exhaustion. The long journey to the family farmstead, coupled with the need to be back on site as the sun rose, found him spending more nights at [NAME OF FIRST TAVERN HERE] instead of his own bed.
One evening, while eating a late dinner before heading up to "his" room, Varm reminisced about his youth on the farm. He talked about how his father taught him. How he had learned the particulars of Ash Wheat growth, farm maintenance, and dogged perseverance. How it had been passed down for generations. He lamented not being able to do the same for his two young boys.
"Varm. Just 'cause a thing's been a way for a long time don't mean it 'as to stay a way forever. Look at that mill o' yers. No need to trek out to King's Bay anymore, and e'rybody 'round here's happier for it. E'rybody 'cept you."
The very next day, Varm contracted Declan Kinkett to build the first multi-story home in Haverstock.
