Vale of Viraky

The Vale of Virarky is a forested valley in the central mountains of Kataris, to the north of the Vale of Chesk (from which it is seperated by the mountains known as the Road of Ice) and south of Witherpeak. Once ruled by the Dynasty of Varkos, it is now mostly controlled by the Gateway Alliance - specifically the Barony of Viraky and the Duchy of Ciromia. The Barrier Lake separates the lower valley from the upper portion in which lies the ruins of Nachtzahn, and which is controlled by the secretive alliance of necromancers known as Deep Haunt.
