Protectors of Elturel

When the city was rescued from Avernus, and the Grand Duke of Baldur’s Gate with it, he proclaimed that the heroes be given stewardship of the city, that for the remainder of their lives they should be making the decisions as to how the city be best served.
This was their reward.
Caught up in a wave of gratitude, the survivors of the city readily agreed, but as normality returned to Elturel, the concerns of the people began to question these newcomers and only time will tell if their rulership of the city will stand the test of time.
