Khabhoom Jonloc of Falbehklin
42-year old Khabhoom Jonloc, of the clan Khabhoom, hails from the gnome prime material world of Falbehklin, named after a great gnome explorer who discovered it over ten thousand years ago while traveling in wildspace. Falbehklin is a world where gnomes live under constant threat from the dreaded trolls. No other sentient races live in Falbehklin, although there are monsters and animals on the planet. Many gnomish explorers have gone 'offworld' using spelljammers to discover worlds with other races then return to share their discoveries with the gnomes of Falbehlkin.
Khabhoom Jonloc just recently received an apprentice researcher job at the prestigious Mechanammer University. Being versed in Infernal, his job was to translate mechanical artifacts found by various gnomish archaeologists who traveled throughout the nine layers of Hell. It was hoped that some of the artifacts could be reverse-engineered to help in the fight against the dreaded trolls that constantly threaten many gnomish settlements and cities.
After a month of starting his job, Khaboom came upon a strange contraption. While tinkering with it, he inadvertently activated the strange device. It seemed to open a rift. Curiosity got the best of Khaboom. He quickly gathered his belongings, wrote a quick note to leave at his workstation, then stepped through the portal, but not before grabbing a one-shot transportificator and bringing along his pet clockwork crab, Mechaniclaws. When activated by pressing the correct sequence of buttons, the transportificator will instantly transport whoever activates the device back to Falbehlkin no matter the distance, even if the device is on another plane of existence.
Moments after stepping through the rift, Khaboom found himself in a great cathedral somewhere in Avernus, the first layer of the Nine Hells.
He's excited about finding artifacts he can take back to Falbehklin. He hopes his daring exploration of Avernus can earn him a chance at becoming Chairgnome of the Reverse-Engineering of all Things Strange and Wondrous Department at Mechahammer University.

Khaboom is currently exploring Avernus with Wink's Warriors, a group of adventurers who traveled to Avernus in hopes of finding a means to return the city of Elturel back to Toril, a prime material world where the other members of the adventuring company comes from.Khaboom Jonloc from Falbehklin is played by Jonathan R.
