Personal history
Born as the bastard son of a renowned knight and the daughter of a Danish merchant, Rhett spent most of his life being a lesser concern of his father, Lord Axe.
However, he was not the only son with such a fate, and his two other bastard brothers taught him how to thrive. Rhett was knighted out of almost pure luck, but also took to heart the lessons he was given as a mercenary. He fought quite a few battles in Cornwall, after his trueborn brother had left for the only remaining estate of the family in Salisbury. When Graid returned, he was a man of Uther, one that Rhett had to meet in battle. At Terrabil, he fought hard for Duke Gorlois, but was bested by none other than Reccared the Golden. When Graid was made Lord Axe, Rhett was given the task of caring for Stapleford, and after the death of Uther, he was given the manor, as to avoid split loyalities.
