A man as slim as a soldier, but is not in the army, is either an assasin (possibly a traitor then), or a dancer (whore) and it is still a big no-no in the everyday life of most of the country, except in the deeps of Al'Soukarh.
Courtship Ideals
The tradition wants the courting to gift the courted with an object linked to succes: For exemple, it could be a dagger if the courting has been succesfull at war, or a price won in a contest. The courted can accepts the gift and return the favor with a public act of caring: Buying a meal; offering hospitality; buying a usefull item for the courting. If the courted wont accept the gift, the courting either exchange it with an act of caring or accepts that they have been ditched. Courting for a relashionship usually is the first step in propositioning someone.
Relationship Ideals
A relationship based on a courting process will most of the time end up in marriage. A lot of couples court each other while already in a relationwhip as a first step in propositioning. It could be considered the "ideal relationship". Propositioning is usually done by exchanging a wedding ornament (head piece, wrist ornament and such) that will be exchanged back the day of the wedding, and wore. (ex: A and B want to propose. B's familly choses a wrist ornament for A and A buys it. A exchage ornament with B who did the same thing. The day of wedding, B puts the ornament that A bought on A, and vice-versa)
